Brief Introduction

Corundum Mullite Bricks as a kind of high quality furnace refractory bricks that are made of high purity mullite and corundum as the main raw materials and mixed with suitable alumina and silica powder as the binding agent through high temperature firing. RW Corundum Mullite Bricks are white and have accurately sizes. With good creep resistance and high temperature resistance and low apparent porosity, Corundum mullite bricks are widely used in hot blast stove and glass furnace.

Manufacturing Process

Corundum mullite bricks generally are manufactured with synthesized mullite. Adopt mullite granule as the aggregate and α- Al2O3 powder as the powder material. And also can use fused or sintered corundum granule as the aggregate and synthesized mullite powder as the powder material. Burdening of the aggregate and powder materials according to the certain ratio and grain size distribution mix with binding agent of sulfite pulp waste liquid in order. After complete mixing, use friction brick press or hydraulic brick press to mold into shapes. And then firing the green bricks under the temperature of 1650~1750℃ after drying.
