The Use Of Ceramic Fiber Paper

Ceramic fiber paper is a lightweight refractory material made by melting ore at high temperature, then spinning to produce ceramic fiber, and then wet forming. Because of the superior performance of ceramic fiber paper, it has been widely used, so what can ceramic fiber paper do?
If you want to understand what ceramic fiber paper can do, you must first understand its own advantages:

(1) Low heat capacity and low thermal conductivity;

(2) Non-brittle material with good toughness;

(3) Good wind erosion resistance and long service life;

(4) Excellent thermal stability and thermal shock resistance;

(5) Good sound absorption performance;

(6) Rigid, self-supporting plates;

(7) Good anti-stripping performance;

(8) Easy to shape or cut.

Uses of ceramic fiber paper:

(1) Iron and steel industry: expansion joints, backing insulation, heat insulation sheet and mold insulation;

(2) Non-ferrous metal industry: tundish and launder covers are mostly used for pouring copper or copper-containing alloys;

(3) Ceramic industry: lightweight kiln car structure, hot surface lining of kiln, division of each temperature zone of kiln and fire blocking materials;

(4) Glass industry: molten pool backing heat insulation, burner block:

(5) Kiln construction: hot surface refractory material (replacement blanket), backing expansion joint of heavy refractory material;

(6) Light industry: lining of combustion chambers of industrial boilers and household boilers;

(7) Wall lining and backing material of high temperature reaction and heating equipment.
